The aim of the Department
of Computer Education is to train teachers for computer related courses,
especially with software emphasis, in educational institutions and at
the same time to provide specialists for the public and private sectors
in this field. Specialists, educated at the undergraduate and graduate
levels reach to the points of knowledge and aptitude, to apply computer
technology in education with optimum effectiveness.
The department members
consist of
2 professor,
4 assistant
professors, 4 lecturer dr.
and 3 research assistants. The
department has five computer laboratories which contain a total of 110
computers.
The graduates of the
department can work in every area of the public and private sectors
where computer systems are utilized in addition to being able to give
computer courses in every level of educational institutions. They can
specialize in the graduate and doctoral programs of the universities and
some are also employed there. The four year undergraduate curriculum of
the department consists of general culture, pedagogical formation and
